Create a vision in your mind of what you want your organized space to look like, feel like, and how you would like it to function.

Tackle one space or area at a time. Start small – organize a shelf, a drawer or one cabinet.

Plan 10-15 minutes of organizing every day. A little at a time is less overwhelming than doing it all at once.

Go green. Reuse organizing products that you already own or can repurpose.

Use non-traditional items for containers. Try bowls and planters for utility and a decorative look.

Have a designated place for everything – and everything in its place.
