Did you buy any new appliances or gadgets over the past year? Even if you didn’t purchase any, chances are you still have lots of paper manuals and warranties hanging around your home, either in piles or in your filing cabinets. Sound familiar? Take some time to go through the manuals and warranties you have, recycling any for products that you no longer own or are unusable. Then, come up with a system for filing or storing current functioning ones – one binder, one file folder or document box. Better yet, scan key pages of manuals or check online to see if they exist there so you don’t need to save the paper ones.
