The weather may not reflect it right now, but the calendar tells us it is fall. Fall is a great time to re-set your physical space and set yourself up for the busy holiday season that is right around the corner.  Here are some ideas for a refresh:

  1. Prep your pantry – clean it out so you can see everything you have on hand and begin to stock up on non perishable holiday items or family favorites.
  2. Plan your weekly menu – Nothing beats having a clear plan so you know what you are making/serving for dinner each night.
  3. Banish summer clutter – Let’s go thru all the flip flops, half empty suntan lotions, towels, beach bags, swim googles and bathing suits. Clean what you are keeping and find a place to store and label them.
  4. Pull out your warm bedding – find where you packed it away and be sure it is clean and ready for use.
  5. Transition your wardrobe – as the warm weather lingers you can leave some basic lighter pieces out, but begin to transition by bringing out fall pieces and items to use as layers.
