My spring organizing classes are full and my calendar is packed with client appointments…it must be spring (or something very close to it!) This spring is going to include a flurry of organizing because our winter seemed harsher than usual. More indoor time means more time to feel overwhelmed by the stuff surrounding us. So why not jump on board and do some organizing. If you need motivation, here are a myriad of reasons why you should consider getting organized:
1. It saves you time. You won’t waste valuable time looking for lost or misplaced items.
2. It saves money. You won’t buy things you already own.
3. You can earn money. Sell your clothes at a consignment store or host a yard sale. Donate items for a tax deduction.
4. Bump up your credit score – pay your bills on time instead of searching for them after they are due.
5. Decrease stress. Fewer things to manage lowers our stress level.
6. Clear your mind. Fewer things to maintain and take care of gives us more time to relax.
7. Improve friendships. You can invite people over when you clear your clutter.
8. Breathe easier. Less stuff = less dust and dirt.
9. Finally, you will feel refreshed and renewed – what better way to welcome spring?
