• Put away shovels, sleds, ice melt, roof rakes, car scrapers and brushes and other winter items.  Replace these with your rakes, hoses, flower pots, watering cans, and lawn care items for spring.  Be sure to keep only the items that are in good working condition and that you use regularly.
  • Make next year’s tax filing easier by setting up systems for storing financial papers.  While you are at it, shred the papers you no longer need or refer to.
  • Take out your calendar and jot down all of your spring and summer commitments as well as upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions and scheduled time off.
  • Honor Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunts, Uncles, Fathers and Grandfathers with the gift of organizing in recognition of Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days.   Offer them a hand with an organizing project.
